MEET MAXX NIES

About Maxx Nies

Maxx Nies is a 22-year-old artist who has found solace and healing through her music. Growing up, she was inspired to write her first song at the age of 7 after the passing of her great-grandmother, using the power of songwriting to process her complicated emotions. Maxx is a dedicated artist who has studied the work of Taylor Swift, seeking to understand the path of a successful artist.

MAXX Music Career

Throughout her teenage years, Maxx devoted herself to the world of horse riding while music served as a personal therapy and hobby. However, it wasn't until 2018 that she fully committed to pursuing her music career. Maxx's music explores themes of self-worth, depression, anxiety, daddy issues, residual effects of abuse, and mental health. She aspires to be a voice for women who need validation, comfort, and support.

Maxx has recently moved to New York and signed with Connection Music Publishing, a subsidiary of Glassnote Records. The past year has been a time of growth and exploration for her as she focuses on her personal career and brand. Her songs have connected with her audience and have provided comfort and healing for many.

MAXX Personal Background

Maxx's background is marked by a difficult relationship with her father, who was an abusive and inconsistent figure in her life. Maxx was a victim of sexual, emotional, and verbal abuse and was forced to face these traumas early on in her life. Through her love for music and the support of her mother (Kimberly Nies) and uncle (Eric Nies), Maxx was able to overcome her struggles and find her way back to healing. Today, Maxx is thriving, finding herself, gaining inner peace, allowing love within herself, and using her music to help others who may be going through similar experiences.
